Hi Guys...Creating and maintaining a Facebook group is a great way to
exchange ideas, tips and information on a
given topic with a
community of like-
minded Facebook users.
Everyone in the group can contribute and learn from one another while sharing a special sense of belonging. It really
can be a fun and
enlightening experience.
But what if you create a group that just never really takes off and gains momentum or
simply fails to hold your attention for more than a few days?
You can easily delete a group that you control from Facebook, but the way it’s done isn’t exactly common knowledge...
There’s no “Delete Group” button and the folks at Facebook don’t really go
out of their way to make it easy to figure out how to do it.
If you control a
Facebook group that you wish to delete, simply follow the steps
listed below:
1 – Visit the group’s home page and click the Members link. [See Screenshot]
2 – Remove every
member of the group except yourself. To do
this, simply click the “gear” icon below each member’s name and then click Remove from Group...
